Brock’s Equipped Riders Dominate SGMP Winners Circle

The 2014 season concluded this past weekend at the Manufacturer’s Cup Finals at SGMP in Valdosta, GA. With unseasonably cool temperatures records were targeted and championships secured. The red hot Bud Yoder/McIntosh Machine & Fabrication team was carrying their Pro Street World Record momentum and came to Georgia with one thing on mind, a race win. The BST clad Hayabusa only qualified mid-field, but quickly found its groove. Yoder laid down an impressive series of three six-second passes after first round to march straight to the winner’s circle and close out the year with a bang.

Real Street action was extra pressure packed as the championship would be decided throughout the race. Rickey Gadson made sure he didn’t miss another championship and marched to the final, winning on a hole shot. The race win also clinched Gadson’s 11th championship in the process.

In sportsman racing action, Jeremy Teasley won the Crazy 8’s championship aboard the Brock’s equipped 1 Stop Speed Hayabusa, built by Mike Belo. This recently featured bike proved to be a perfect combination for the 8.88 index class. Shane Cunningham and Ron Arnold made it an all Brock’s Final for the Crazy 8’s race with Shane taking home the win. The second all Brock’s final was achieved when Wade Smith raced John Markham in the Street Fighter class. Smith was able to edge Markham by running closer to the 9.50 index.
