BST Blackstone TEK engineers have designed the world’s strongest and most advanced carbon fiber wheel on the market, the all-new i-Series 7 Spoke Black Mamba. In terms of strength, BST has been manufacturing the world’s most durable motorcycle wheels for over 15 years and claim that the new i-Series wheels are tested to a 1000hp Pro Street wheel standard tailored to the demands of the dragstrip.
Record setter and newly crowned Pro Street champion, Frankie Stotz, is about to test the most advanced carbon fiber wheel available to motorcycle drag racers.
The Stotz Racing team currently running BST wheels has just returned from a championship finish with the NHDRO drag series. But with the biggest event of the year on approach, they plan to have their American Honda CBR1000RR in record-breaking trim. The next milestone in Pro Street is a 6.5x ET, and they are looking for an advantage with the all-new i-Series 7 Spoke Black Mamba wheels from BST. In just three weeks they will head to Georgia for the Man Cup World Finals to put the i-Series to the test.
When asked about the strength of this brand-new wheel, Managing Director Gary Turner stated, “We reached over 2.5 tons of weight when trying to pull a spoke out of the hub, and all we did was break our testing equipment.”
The all-new i-Series carbon fiber wheel is designed to optimize stiffness, strength, and rigidity while perfecting performance. The rear wheel incorporates a hub that is manufactured with high-pressure carbon forged technology. One of the best features is that the rear wheel was designed to fit nine other applications.
With the purchase of a unique sprocket carrier kit, you can move your rear wheel between these popular models: ZX-14R, Hayabusa, S1000RR, ZX-10R or GSX-1000R. The i-Series are available in the following sizes: Front 3.5” x 17” and soon to be released 3.5” x 16” and for the Rear a 6” x 17” and 6.75” x 17”. Exclusively found at Brock’s Performance.
