Sprint Filter is excited to announce their 2015 sponsored riders in the FIM World Superbike Series.
Jordi Torres Fernández
Jordi Torres Fernández is a two time Spanish Moto2 Champion and has competed at national level, in his native Spain, also in the Supersport and Stock Extreme classes. Since 2011 he has been a permanent fixture in the Moto2 World Championship. In 2013 he stepped onto the podium three times: he won the German GP at the Sachsenring, then second in the Valencia GP and third in the Australian GP at Phillip Island. The talented Spaniard has now chosen to continue his already successful career in the eni FIM Superbike World Championship and he is looking forward to the new challenge with Sprint Filter.
Leandro Mercado
Leandro Mercado is a Superbike World Championship racer from Argentina, currently racing in the Superbike World Championship for the BARNI Racing Team. He previously raced in the FIM Superstock 1000 Championship, where he won the title in 2014. He looks forward to taking another title in 2015 with Sprint Filter.
Leon Lloyd Haslam
Leon is a motorcycle racer from England. He began racing at an early age and by the time he was in his late teens, he had raced in most of the significant British and international championships. After the 2004 season on a Ducati in World Superbikes with team mate Nori Haga, between 2005 and 2008 he was a regular front-runner in the British Superbike Championship. For 2009 he returned to the Superbike World Championship, riding for Suzuki, BMW, Honda and Aprilia for 2015. Haslam is nicknamed ‘Pocket Rocket’ and is the son of former road-racer ‘Rocket Ron’ Haslam.
Santiago Barragan
Sprint Filter is glad to announce the agreement with Santiago Barragan for the 2015 FIM Superbike World Championship. Born in 1987 in Spain, Barragan, in the last season he took part in the CEV – Spanish Superbike Championship – with the Kawasaki ZX-10R of the Stratos Team. He scored three second places, in Jerez, Albacete and Navarra, and he was fifth overall at the end of the season.
Sylvain Barrier
French motorcycle racer, currently racing in the Superbike World Championship for the BMW Motorrad Team Italia. He previously raced in the FIM Superstock 1000 Championship, where he won two titles, winning the title in 2012, and again in 2013. He has raced in the championship since 2008, mostly in a BMW machinery finishing 6th in 2010 with two podiums, 4th in 2011 with a 1 win and 4 podiums, and champion in 2012 and 2013, he previously raced in the European Superstock 600 championship in 2006 and 2007. Sprint Filter looks forward to helping Sylvain win a championship in 2015.
