The Ruck Shop Counterfeit Grom Kickstand:
Brock’s Performance has recently identified that ‘The Ruck Shop’ is manufacturing and selling an unauthorized knockoff of our original, in-house designed Honda Grom kickstand.
Not only have they copied our kickstand design, but they’ve also plagiarized our product descriptions and installation instructions, nearly word-for-word.
To guarantee you receive a high-quality, authentic product, make sure to purchase directly from Brock’s Performance or one of our trusted dealers. Don’t settle for a cheap imitation.

Below are a few things to look for:
Chinese Hex nuts have “locking dimples” – typically used in the high volume/high production (cheap parts) automotive world. To keep them from rattling loose due to poor manufacturing tolerances.
Brock’s hex nuts are constructed from certified billet stainless hex stock and do not have locking dimples.
The width of the hex flat on the rod is narrower and so are the overall width of our jam nuts.

Ensure you are buying Brock’s Performance products from reputable sources to avoid falling victim to cheap foreign knockoffs.
Brock’s Performance is issuing a customer alert to purchasers of products, particularly via Internet sales and foreign eBay accounts, in regard to bogus Brock’s Performance products that are being sold. These products bear many of the trademarks and signature look of Brock’s Performance products, making them very hard to distinguish externally from authentic Brock’s Performance products.
ATTENTION: Brock’s Performance mufflers are NOT SOLD separately. Beware of anyone attempting to sell Brock’s Performance branded mufflers individually, or in pairs.
How to detect a counterfeit:
At first, it may be hard to discern counterfeit products from real Brock’s Performance products. Many visual and technical features (e.g., the Brock’s Performance logo) of a counterfeit product may appear to be identical to the original. A closer look, however, reveals the poor quality of components and workmanship of most counterfeits.
Warranty:
Brock’s Performance grants no warranty whatsoever for, and will not repair any counterfeit product. Brock’s Performance lifetime direct support and map support is not applicable for any counterfeit products.
Safety:
Counterfeit products may not meet legal requirements in terms of workmanship, materials, and safety. Brock’s Performance will accept no liability whatsoever for any damage that may be caused by such products to you or your motorcycle.
Action:
The manufacturing and selling of counterfeit products violate competition laws, trademark rights, and corporate rights. The purchasing and importing of counterfeit products are not allowed. Brock’s Performance reserves the right to take appropriate legal action where necessary.
