BST Wheels Dominate the NHDRO Pro Street Winners Circle

This past weekend’s NHDRO World Finals event was not only the last race of the season, it was also the makeup August race that was unfortunately postponed due to weather. This meant double the chances for racers to win races and earn points for the championships. The dynamic duo of Mark Paquette and Bud Yoder were more than ready for the double header with their smartly equipped BST carbon fiber wheels.

Paquette was the number one qualifier from the August race and he used the preferred starting position to make his way through the Pro Street field to meet up with teammate and veteran Bud Yoder. This competitive matchup of two six second Pro Street bikes marked one of two all BST carbon fiber wheels final for the weekend, with Paquette taking the win over Yoder running a 6.89 to a 6.95 ET.

As the World Finals event continued, Paquette once again was on top. The one/two starting positions would once again put the teammates opposite sides of the elimination ladder. This was all they needed to work their way through the stout field of Pro Street bikes to make it the second team final of the weekend. Going for his second straight win of the weekend, Mark Paquette went red to his teammate Bud Yoder. Yoder won the race running a 6.98 and securing his NHDRO Championship for 2015.

The weekend wouldn’t be complete without a slew of sportsman finals featuring Brock’s Performance exhausts. For the August event, sponsored racers Ron Arnold and Dustin Lee met in the makeup race final of Street ET with Dustin taking the win. James “Crow” Teasley snagged a runner-up in Crazy 8’s while Dave Page secured runner-up in Street Fighter. Luke Slemker took his BST/Brock’s equipped carbon fiber Hayabusa to the often bar bike dominated Super Comp final for a respectable runner-up as well.

Sportsman racers continued their marathon weekend with World Final eliminations on Sunday. Dustin Lee was on fire, making it to his second and third finals of the weekend. He won Street ET first which secured his 2015 Championship, but then came back for another matchup against teammate Ron Arnold in Street Fighter. Dustin once again beat out Ron and in the process secured his second Championship of the weekend. In Crazy 8s action Clark Proctor secured a runner-up with his Brock’s exhaust and champion rider Jeremy Teasley took runner-up in Super Comp.

Congratulations to all of the weekend’s winners and to the 2015 NHDRO Champions.
