2024 Kawasaki Ninja 7 Hybrid
A recent leaked document from Toyota describes how the automaker’s practical path forward is to reduce carbon emissions by focusing on more PHEV models that will offer more affordable price points. Due to a limited charging infrastructure in the US, we still have a long way before we have a full-on presentation of EV only.
The Kawasaki Ninja 7 Hybrid is by far the most advanced gas-electric model two-wheeler ever to reach production. Combining a 451cc parallel twin with an electric motor, plus an automated manual transmission, the company claims the Ninja 7 Hybrid offers off-the-line acceleration comparable to a 1000cc superbike, outright performance in the 650cc-700cc class and fuel economy comparable to a 250cc bike. The new Ninja 7 may not be available stateside until 2025.
