Natalotto Wins 22-2023 Competition Bike Championship

Daniel Natalotta had a banner year winning Friday’s Can-Am Competition Bike Championship at Perth Motorplex, and Rider of the Year!

This was his first season on a brand-new Kawasaki ZX-10R equipped with bolt-on products from Brock’s Performance.

2023 natalotto 03 “We basically used bolt-on parts and took this brand new stock motorcycle to compete with the big guns of the class. The motorcycle’s performance was strong and consistent all season long and it showed in our performance,” said Natalotto.

The first two events went well with back-to-back runner-up finishes,  however, in the next three events the bike really showed its strength top qualifying & winning those events.

Round six he took a semi-final finish, however shortly after that he had the highlight of his season winning his first Gold Tree trophy at the 52nd Western Nationals!

Round seven was another runner-up with a top qualifier. And the final round of the season was unfortunately rained out. However Natalotto went into the final with a 150-point lead over the class, and his championship was sealed.

“Winning the championship is a dream, but what will really make this year memorable was winning ‘Rider of the Year’! This is a huge honor as it spans all three motorcycle classes,” stated Natalotto.

“This was by far our most successful season since claiming ‘Rookie Rider of the Year’ back in 2009.  I have to dedicate all this success to my beautiful partner Natasha whose unconditional love and support has enabled me to achieve all of this.”

Next season Natasha will ride her Yamaha R1, and Natalotto plans on returning the favor by supporting her as crew & coach.

About Perth Motorplex

Opened in December 2000, the multi-million dollar facility has become the center of attraction for automotive-based activities including Drag Racing, Dirt Track Speedway, Burnout competitions, Street Machine Car shows, Monster Trucks, Stunt Shows, and Super Cross events.

In addition, the Kwinana Beach venue has hosted some of the biggest names in the Concert Industry including Guns n Roses, ZZ Top, Korn, and Rose Tattoo.

The facility boasts excellent access from Anketell Rd leading to a generous car park where patrons can choose from convenience parking or free general parking. All spectator areas have great viewing with Silver tickets and Gold reserved seating tickets with pit paddock access being the most popular.

The Perth Motorplex has a wide range of catering outlets to suit all tastes. Licensed bars selling mid-strength alcohol products are also conveniently located around the venue. (Please note that it is against the law to bring alcohol into Western Australian Sporting venues).

The Perth Motorplex has the latest state-of-the-art stadium lighting – certainly a great advantage as most major events are conducted at night time.

Major events including Drag Racing and Speedway are conducted from October through to April each season with Street Drag Racing running each and every Wednesday night from September through to May.
