With the Supreme Court ruling in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc., the time has come to start collecting sales tax from customers throughout the US — meaning Brock’s Performance will have to start collecting sales tax across state lines. Dealers may be exempt from sales tax collection provided that Brock’s Performance receives a current tax exemption form from you. Please check with your home State Department of Taxation to obtain such form, fill it out, (sign it where required,) and email or fax it back to us.
Please Note: We MUST have your state’s blanket tax exemption form on file here at Brock’s Performance to grant your company tax-exempt status.
If you are in a hurry, you can place your order online, pay the sales tax, and request a refund through your state and/or local taxing authorities when you process your sales tax return(s).
Otherwise, please fill out your state blanket tax exemption form (see PDF links below), submit completed form to DealerSupport@BrocksPerformance.com, or fax it to (937) 912-0062, and await approval which typically takes one business day. Once approved, you will be notified via email. You will then be able to shop online without being charged sales tax. AFTER YOU’RE ACCOUNT HAS BEEN SET UP AS TAX EXEMPT, and if you already have items in your shopping cart that are being charged sales tax, you will need to FIRST remove the items from the cart, log out of your account and log back in. From this point, all items should go in as tax-exempt.
