When the checkered flag waved, Bezzecchi crossed the finish line 3.5 seconds ahead of the field, securing his fourth MotoGP victory of the 2026 season and extending his championship lead to 17 points.

“This is a dream that I had since when I was a kid,” Bezzecchi explained after the race. “We used to come here to see the races with my mum, my dad and my sister. Every year seeing all the other riders winning or getting the podium in Mugello, and I was never there. I wanted to be there so bad.”
That dream became reality on Sunday.
Bezzecchi’s teammate, Jorge Martin, capped off a dominant day for Aprilia by finishing second, crossing the line 3.559 seconds behind.
